Definition

SiOnyx is looking for a CMOS Image Sensor program manager to work in close collaboration with foundries, our internal and external design teams, marketing, and R&D to meet aggressive product development timelines. Working knowledge of image sensor characterization, pixel design, fabrication, packaging and test will be needed to coordinate and guide the teams. Proven experience with project management tools and methodologies is a must. Working with technical and management teams, you will be responsible for definition of program goals and timelines, determination and mitigation of risks, resource planning, supplier management, and progress reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Strong execution skills and ability to motivate technical teams working on advanced development projects. Monitor and report on progress and identify program resource requirements, risk factors, and mitigation plans.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and develop internal and external relationships to optimize program execution.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain superior documentation of program and project details.
• Strong technical writing skills and verbal communication.
• Ability to interact with our foundries on all aspects of CMOS image sensor requirements including process integration, color filter, optics, packaging and test
• Ability to interact with and manage our internal image sensor and pixel designers as well as our external design subcontractor to meet program goals and timelines
• This position will require some domestic travel with international travel possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years proven leadership experience in project & program management
• Project management certification preferred
• Knowledge of CMOS semiconductor process and design
• Basic understanding of image sensor pixels and product requirements preferred

Education or Experience

• MS in Engineering, EE preferred
• Experience as fabless program manager (min of 10 years with mixed signal and/or image sensor)
• Experience in a >$50M line of business shipping 1M+ units per month production volume
• Recent experience (past 5 years) with TSMC, UMC or other major contract fabrication facilities
• Proven experience in full product life cycle management (5 product families min) & recent experience (past 5 years) with TSMC, UMC or other major contract fabrication facilities
• Experience with quality system, process improvement, and contract negotiation
• Experience in image sensor technology development and technology transfer preferred
• Experience with image sensor characterization and data analysis preferred.

This position is located in our Beaverton, Oregon office. You will be working in a dynamic startup, developing game changing technologies in a collaborative and friendly environment. The office and associated clean room and labs are set up to develop prototypes and semiconductor processes to work with our design and supply partners worldwide.
