Ms. Alie is a named inventor on 6 US patents and was team leader for Analog Devices MEMS IP management board. Prior to joining Analog Devices, Ms. Alie held roles with Polaroid, Alpha Industries and Fairchild Semiconductor. Ms. Alie earned her BSChE and MSChE from University of New Hampshire |
| Dr. Homayoon Haddad, VP of Device Engineering Dr. Haddad joined SiOnyx from MagnaChip Semiconductor where he served as VP of Advanced Sensor & Pixel development. He managed the development of 2.2, 1.7, and 1.4 um pixel technologies and released the first 1.75 um color BSI sensor in 2007. Prior to joining MagnaChip, Dr. Haddad worked with Hewlett Packard and Agilent from 1984 -2006 where he held a variety of technology management and engineering roles and he was responsible for releasing several sensor & pixel technologies. Dr. Haddad holds a BSEE, MSEE, and Ph.D from Oregon State university. |
| Dr Martin Pralle VP of Business Development Dr. Pralle is the VP of Business Development at SiOnyx. Prior to this he was the General Manager and VP of Engineering at ICx Technologies’ Photonics division where he spent 8 years developing photonic crystal MEMS infrared emitters and bolometer sensors from initial device inception to high volume production. This development required cross functional technology integration including photonic bandgap physics, optics, MEMS mechanical device design, and analog electrical circuitry. As part of this past activity he was PI on or contributed to multiple SBIR and government funded research programs from NSF, NIH, DOE and others. Dr. Pralle holds a PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and BS from Cornell University, both in Materials Science. As a graduate student he focused on self assembling strategies for supramolecular aggregates in order to spontaneously fabricate functional devices. |
| Dr. James Carey Principal Scientist & Co-Founder Dr. Carey is an expert in optical physics and the interaction of materials with ultrashort laser pulses. Dr. Carey played a key role in the discovery of the unique optoelectronic properties of pulsed laser microstructured silicon, the study of which formed the basis for his SM in Engineering Science degree and Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Harvard. Dr. Carey holds a BSE from the University of Michigan. |
